5-Minute Lazy Pizza
When you're craving pizza but don't want the doughy cleanup (or the wait!), this is the ultimate hack. It takes 5 minutes to prep and comes out looking like it’s from a fancy bistro. Whether you have guests over or just want a fun weekend meal with the kids, this "Lazy Pizza" is proof that you can be creative and healthy at the same time.
Prep time: 5 minutes
Bake time: 8–10 minutes
Servings: 1 Pizza
Ingredients
The Base:
1 Large tortilla (flour or high-protein wrap)
3–4 Toothpicks (to hold the shape)
The Toppings:
2–3 tbsp tomato sauce (your favorite pizza sauce)
1/4 cup Shredded Mozzarella * Fresh Mozzarella pearls (or a slice of burrata for that "fancy" look)
Protein of choice: Grilled chicken strips or turkey pepperoni
Garnish: Fresh cilantro or basil, red onion, and a drizzle of balsamic glaze
Instructions
Shape the Crust: Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). Lay your tortilla flat on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Fold three sides inward to create a triangle shape. Secure each corner where the edges overlap using a toothpick.
Layer the Sauce: Spread your tomato sauce evenly in the center of the triangle.
Add Your Fillings: Top with your shredded mozzarella and your protein (like the chicken, tomatos and red onion).
Bake: Pop it in the oven for 8–10 minutes until the edges of the tortilla are golden and crispy and the cheese is bubbling.
The "Fancy" Touch: Remove from the oven and remove the toothpicks. Top with fresh mozzarella pearls, a few slivers of red onion, and fresh greens.
Serve: Drizzle with a little balsamic glaze or hot honey if you want to really impress your guests!
