This is the ultimate high-protein snack hack. Itβs a "finger food" version of a kebab thatβs incredibly crunchy and lean. Using a tortilla as the crust and a bit of egg white keeps everything perfectly held together.
Ingredients:
300g Lean Ground Beef
2 Large Tortillas
1 Egg White (for brushing)
2 Cloves Fresh Garlic (minced)
2 tbsp Shish Taouk Seasoning
Alternative Seasoning: If you don't have Shish Taouk mix, use a blend of: Garlic powder, Paprika, Cumin, Onion powder, and a pinch of Cinnamon.
Instructions:
The Meat: Mix the ground beef with fresh minced garlic and the Shish Taouk seasoning.
The Layering: Spread the meat mixture in a thin, even layer over one tortilla.
The Secret Step: Brush the top of the meat and the edges of the second tortilla with egg white. This acts as a glue to keep the layers together. Place the second tortilla on top and press down firmly.
The Cut & Twist: Slice the "sandwich" into strips (using a wire rack as a guide makes this easy). Take each strip and twist it into a spiral.
The Bake: Place on a parchment-lined tray and bake in the oven at 200Β°C (400Β°F) for 10β15 minutes until the tortillas are crispy and golden.
